Position : Lead – Engineering Excellence

Type : Individual Contributor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, Standardize & Automate Engineering processes for New Product Development, Sustaining & Improving existing Products, templates, forms using appropriate tools such as Excel Macros, VBA, PowerApps & other O365 tools. Continuously focus on standardizing & simplification of Processes
2. Conduct process health self-assessments, monitors assessment outcome and corrective action plans, and impact on the outcomes
3. Develop the deployment contents such as one-pager, cheat sheets for the Engineering Excellence Modules
4. Develop the Webpage based on SharePoint platform for the horizontal deployment of Engineering Excellence
5. Develop standardized power point contents with styling.
6. Implement, Co-ordinate, & track projects deploying Six Sigma (DFSS, DMAIC, LEAN)
7. Integrate Engineering Excellence Elements, Quality Management System, Audits & assessments to drive continuous improvements in Product Design & Development Life Cycles
8. Manage Communication on Engineering Excellence across Organization

Skills Required:

• Proficient in Standardization & automation using Excel Macros, VBA, PowerApps, Power Automate, O365 Tools

1. Proficient in Excel Automation & Macro development
2. Proficient in Power Point with the content styling
3. Proficient in SharePoint Page development with content styling, PowerApps, Power Automate, O365 Tools

• Proficient in Six Sigma (DFSS, DMAIC, LEAN) & Continuous Improvement Methodologies
• Proficient in Program Management Processes & Practices in Engineering Organization focusing on Systems/Product design & development life cycles.
• Proficient in Quality Management Systems, ISO/AS 9001-2015
• Knowledge of Organizational Excellence Frameworks & deployment thereof
• Knowledge of Agile Framework & Practices for Software Development Life Cycles

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Degree in Engineering: Master's degree - 6 to 8 years or bachelor’s degree -8 to 10 years’ experience
• Demonstrated expertise in Excel Automation, VBA & Macro Development. Demonstrated experience in Power Point content styling.
• Demonstrated expertise in SharePoint Page development with content styling, PowerApps, Power Automate, O365 Tools
• Demonstrated experience in Process Management & Organizational Excellence, deployment of Quality Management System across Engineering organization.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting Process Audits, Process deployment assessments & improvement action planning. Preferably Certified Lead Auditor for Quality Management System - ISO/AS 9001-2015
• Knowledge of Agile Processes & Practices in Software Development Life Cycles
• Demonstrated Experience in Engineering Product Design & Development Life Cycle
• Certified Green Belt in DFSS ..preferably Black Belt Certified.
• Effective communication with ability to drive change across organization.
• Excellent problem solving skills complimented by effective decision making
