The Role:

As Senior Network expert , you will be responsible to closely work with the Senior Network Architect to create and design relevant network solutions that fulfil the company business requirements in alignment with Dover standards.

You will collaborate with other architects and technical staff across the IT organization within the entire Dover group on various projects involving network infrastructure, and you will closely partner with the IT applications Teams and Service delivery teams but also with projects managers to deliver an integrated network architecture.

You will be acting as a Subject Matter Expert on network technologies for supporting all specific company network solutions

 

What you will do:

  • Work closely with the Senior Network Architect and stakeholders from various departments as well as Dover to develop network architecture design that is required to fulfill business / company requirements
  • Participate into the analysis and translation of business information and technical requirements into a network architectural design that achieve business objectives, taking into consideration various factors like, bandwidth requirements, infrastructure requirements and security to deliver performant solutions.
  • Contribute to network modeling, analysis, and planning
  • Work closely with Dover Network Team on solutions/projects, as well as on improvements that could be required. Collaborate in the development / design of network related solutions, policies and procedures for voice and data communications infrastructure.
  • Collaborate in designing, implementing and managing network security countermeasures when network vulnerabilities arise
  • Ensure proper integration of new network solutions into the Markem-Imaje architecture
  • Periodically test and evaluate network performance and adjust and redesign network where applicable.
  • Collaborate into network upgrades and or replacements as required and in accordance with ICT policy and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain technical detailed documentations on network design and implementation & host presentations. Produce detailed logical design documents to effectively transfer network infrastructure build and operations to other operations teams.
  • Perform knowledge transfer when needed.
  • Provide technical leadership as a subject matter expert on network related topics.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and effective communication throughout projects. Contribute to the departmental projects, goals, metrics and SLA’s.
  • Stay abreast on new network technology/technical areas & share information about solutions to better support the business.
  • As a technical expert, you are expected to act as a center of expertise, and you will have to provide guidance and support to Service delivery teams when required for problems fixing in operations  (Serve as an escalation point for network issues including routing/switching , network security, VoIP, conferencing solutions,….)
  • Establish professional relationships with other SMES to advise, evaluate and implement secure network solutions.

 

What you need to have: 

  • Very good expertise in networking including routing/switching (WAN/LAN , BGP/OSPF, ) , VoIP/ToIP, VPN, network security, videoconferencing , MPLS/ SDWAN , Wireless , DNS Management)
  • Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, Juniper Pulse) and SilverPeak SDWAN technology
  • Expertise on network access control models and network security (Firewalling, IPSec, SSL, AAA, WEBFiltering, MFA,…)
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools, WireShark, etc..)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Knowledge of cloud network infrastructure
