Roles & Responsibilities-:
- Execute the remote CNC programming service projects at Dover OpCo’s, utilizing DIIC India, by comprehending the requirements, inputs, technology, and other relevant factors. Develop and standardize new CNC programs for various operating companies to machine intricate, precision metal components using multi-axis CNC milling, turning, and Millturn machining centers. Generate efficient and precise CAM programs utilizing specialized CAM software such as Mastercam, FeatureCAM, and GibbsCAM for all types of Machining Centers, adhering to a
- First-time-right methodology. • Enhance and optimize machining cycle times through various strategies, including tool path optimization, feed speed adjustments, depth of cut parameters, and tooling improvements.
- Execute machining process development and optimization, including raw material selection, part setup/fixturing, machining strategy/order of operations, tool selection, and speed/feed parameter selection.
- Carry out machine building, setup creation, and program validation in digital twin environments such as Vericut and CIMCO.
- Refine and optimize machining processes by analyzing material removal rates to ensure optimal tool life and increased operational efficiency. • Develop the new post processer and edit the current post processers for different software and machine controller combinations.
Skills Required-:
- 10 to 15 years hands on experience on the shop floor in CNC Machining, CAM programming, fixture design, cutting tools, and inspection practices.
- Experienced in implementing the remote CNC programming services module at India office to provide the services at onsite.
- Knowledgeable on the latest AI trends in CNC / CAM programming, fixture designing and other engineering activities. Knowledgeable in Doosan, DMG, Fanuc, Okuma, Mazak, and lathes/mills/millturns, utilizing horizontal and vertical machines with Fanuc, Sinumeric, Heidenhain, and Mazatrol controls.
- Skilled in using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam/FeatureCAM/GibbsCAM) to create tool paths and perform NC postprocessing.
- To generate NC code. Proficient in Vericut software for simulation and setup creation, with experience in Vericut machine building being a plus
