This role is to be the primary resource for all escalated issues related to Wash Connect back-end functionality. Working with the hosted servers performing updates and creating new databases. You will be working closely with the Development DBA as well as
members of Tier3.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide support to the call center technicians
• Handling all escalations that deal with SQL.
• Validations (Hardware/Software Validation)
• Assist in monitoring replication on the hosted servers
• Create new site data bases and update current ones
• Test new releases before deploying to live sites
• Assist in Beta site projects and record the results.
• Determine and coordinate when additional training is needed.
• Respond quickly to address problems that arise
• Perform Database moves and merges
• Setup offsite replication for reporting servers
• Maintain Mirror servers for customers

Education: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
Experience: 3+ years working with MSSQL,

Other: Knowledge MS operating systems, MSSQL, Basic TCP\IP networks, Proven leadership qualities

Experience with IIS and SSRS is preferred.
