The position will directly support the HR Manager for Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The HR officer will be supporting the local operations by delivering services on both Payroll and HR Matters like Employee Engagement, Employee Relations and partnering with our front-line managers to solve HR related needs.

You will act as the primary point of contact for all HR related activities for the team based in the Netherlands and support the HR activities in Belgium and Germany.




This role will work closely with the HR Manager Belgium, the Netherlands & Germany. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Responsible for the execution of the Dutch and Belgium payroll, in collaboration with our payroll provider SD Worx
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local and national laws, especially for the Netherlands
  • Provide advice and guidance on policies, procedures and legislation, promoting best practice to line managers
  • Support and oversee employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance and capability across the organisation, providing counselling and support as required
  • Support all recruitment activities
  • Update and maintain employee data within all HR systems, ensuring information is accurate and relevant in accordance with GDPR.
  • Support the Absence Management process with the local Arbo provider, including reviews with line managers.
  • Maintain and develop current policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
  • Support HR Manager on global HR projects; Global Career Architecture, Change management, culture etc.




The successful candidate will have strong HR generalist background with experience in fast-paced, evolving business environment.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in HR generalist role and has a strong understanding of HR functions, preferably experience with Dutch payroll process
  • Knowledge of up-to-date HR best practice employee relations and employment law in the Netherlands, knowledge of Belgium or Germany is a pro
  • Demonstrates the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity and builds strong and trusting sustainable relationships
  • Understanding the overall operative HR processes and procedures
  • Be comfortable working in a complex, matrix, international environment
  • Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and HR software programs (SAP Succesfactors, SD Worx)
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English
