The Planner/Buyer manages our stock levels ensure our customers expectations’ can be met.
Main activities Purchaser
- Monitoring and guarding supply levels, signaling problems and solving them
- Operationally buying and ordering products, guarding delivery times
- Drafting, filing and checking orders, including handling and registering incoming invoices
- Keeping the product information updated in our ERP system (MSDynamics)
- Staying in touch with suppliers on matters like delivery times, prices, guarantees and product information
- Performs Purchase Order (PO) maintenance associated with ordering, expediting, distribution, approvals and record keeping
- Ensures purchasing records are current and up to date in accordance with company policy and ISO documented standards
Desired skill requirements, competencies and experience
- Education: HBO degree and / or NEVI/CIPS qualified
- Experience in working with or affinity for electronic and/or mechanical assemblies/equipment
- Good communication skills; written, oral and inter-personal
- An enthusiastic colleague
- Strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma environment a plus
- To perform this job successfully good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office are required, knowledge of ERP software system Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous
