Role Overview:

You will be responsible for product technical support, testing, modifying, and commissioning the L(C)NG installations and other alternative fuel installations in the field. You will ensure that all installations are properly configured and operational. Additionally, you will diagnose issues, document findings, and propose improvements. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers to ensure high-quality project execution. It requires customer site inspection and supervision to equipment installations offering product expertise and guidence to Liqal ( Dover Fueling Solutions) Equipment.

 

The candidate will be expected to support Customers based on site across Europe, mainly Netherlands & Belgium customers along with ohter countries such as UK, Germany, Italy & Nordics. The travel commitement will vary between 25-50% and when not in attendance on customers sites, engage our Mechnical/Manufacturing Engineers onsite to gain develop further product knowledge and technical expertise to our products..

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support costumer with technical issues remote / on-site.
  • Commission and validate new L(C)NG fuel installations.
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to verify system functionality.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and commissioning of installed components.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues before, during, and after commissioning and ensure all work meets safety guidelines.
  • Identify and propose improvements for procedures, workflows, and system operations.
  • Develop technical documentation, including manuals and user guides.
  • Communicate progress and expectations to clients, LIQAL Managers and end-users.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Work closely with external suppliers to align on technical specifications and solutions.
  • Conduct performance and reliability tests to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Develop and execute protocols, test plans, and validation reports.
  • You perform the necessary administration as indicated in the instructions and any deviations to support traceability and quality control.
  • You ensure that your workplace is tidy and safe.
  • Maintain regular communication with our distributor’s Technical Managers. Identify and share good practices in technical and maintenance area between distributors and across the region.
  • Provide hands on training for distributors and service partners in EMEA.
  • Prepare technical documentation, procedural instructions and service information.

 

Candidate Experience and Qualification:

  • MBO or bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • Technical background or interest.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong trouble-shooter and critical thinker.
  • A first technical experience in a commissioning engineer or Service Engineer role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and E&I schematics.
  • Wanting to work in an automation environment.
  • Experience with P&ID is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Service and customer oriented.
  • Independent worker and able to work with deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Mobility for short stays abroad (EU + UK).
