What are you going to do?
You are going to lead Belvac Decorating Systems towards ISO9001 certification. You understand both our business processes and the ISO9001 requirements that are needed. You work with the local management and your colleagues at HQ to roll out new procedures or to adapt the existing procedures to the local context. Next to the ISO9001 certification you create perfect supplier development with supplier validation audits and an advanced product quality planning. Furthermore you make sure that the general quality within the company is perfect and continuously improved. Some key and general responsibilities are as follows:

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Work directly with our suppliers in order to ensure excellent part quality from the start
  • In case of quality issues; work with our suppliers to create action plans to address process and systemic failures.
  • Train suppliers, conduct supplier audits and help suppliers to implement a robust quality system.
  • Lead team meetings regarding supply chain quality performance.
  • Set up, implement and facilitate monthly Supplier Quality scorecard results meetings with required  leadership  and other identified team members.
  • Promote the use of the continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) at suppliers and at our internal assembly
  • Audit, create and improve assembly check sheets at and together with our internal assembly department.

 

  • Perform supplier visits to new or existing suppliers to assess manufacturing/inspection resources and Quality Management System capabilities as a particular product source provider. 
  • Perform supplier validation audits, with supplier support and supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP).

Continuous improvement is important for you and you are willing to take the lead in this.

 

Education:

You have a HBO, B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Physics with several years of experience in production related topics.
