QA/QC Quality Control Technician

What are you going to do?

As a QA/QC Quality Control Technician you will make sure all our materials are checked and measured correctly in accordance with the material specifications. This includes the selection and use of one of the appropriate measurement tools in our QA lab. We make use of 2 modern CMM machines (Hexagon & Mitutoyo) and supportive software programs. You will do first article inspection of the new parts. You create the CMM measurement program, you give feedback to the supplier and possibly coordinate an additional functional check by releasing the part to assembly. You monitor supplier performance and part performance. You adjust the measurement contents and frequency accordingly and in line with our quality inspection procedures.

Key responsibilities:
 

• Check and measure our materials with our measurement tools (Hexagon & Mitutoyo)
• Give feedback to suppliers and coordinate further checks
• Monitor supplier and part performance
• Follow quality inspection procedures
• Gage and instrument calibration, reporting and monitoring

Who are you?

You are able to read technical drawings and you understand drawing conventions and tolerances. You are data driven and have strong analytical skills. You are able to program a CMM and create NCR’s when needed. We as Belvac offer relevant courses if needed but basic CMM knowledge needs to be present. You take initiative and you are a team player. You will support the workshop with quality issues when they arise.

Education:

Intermediate Vocational Education (Dutch: MBO3) in a technical field and / or work experience in a similar field as a Quality Control Technician.

• You have basic CMM knowledge
• Preferable: you are able to program a CMM
• Create NCR’s (+ follow up)
