SCOPE: The Sr. Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining warehouse physical inventory accuracy by implementing/managing/measuring inventory control processes and procedures for all inventory movements and performing adjustments as necessary. In addition, conducting cycle counts, researching variances, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions. Furthermore, preparing reports as necessary to reflect inventory accuracy. Provide regular schedules and guidance to cycle counters on a regular basis
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts including researching and documenting inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and possible solutions.
- Monitor and perform key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.
- Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to optimize location and item level accuracy.
- Assist in establishing minimums and maximums for pick locations.
- Monitor product velocity to better determine optimal pick location strategies.
- Inspects products in locations, ensuring that amount is correct and the items are labeled correctly.
- Research problems using AS400P and/or Infor XA or similar systems.
- Performs daily audits to ensure accuracy of received quantities, labeling practices.
- Performs daily checks of questionable product.
- Documents all errors found during any research pertaining to SKU in question.
- Completes all required paperwork/transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and practices.
- Follows standard operating procedures when performing job.
- Keeps supervisor informed of job-related problems and other information related to work activity.
- Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Required:
- Strong work ethic and manual dexterity
- Ability to work well with others in a group, cooperate with others, offer to help when needed, and foster a team climate within the group where members are committed to a common goal
- Ability to change or adapt work practices, priorities, or procedures, or to reschedule activities in response to changing conditions or multiple work demands
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to travel, work overtime and off shifts as needed
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a fast paced and high stress environment
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant inventory control experience
- Associates degree
- Proficient data entry, computer and mathematical skills
- Previous Lead experience a plus
- Able to operate various classes of Powered Industrial Trucks (forklifts)
- Intermediate level Excel knowledge
- Knowledge of AS400/ERP business systems

- Mathematical skills: Used for calculating inventory levels, reorder points, and cost analysis.
- Knowledge of inventory control equipment: Understanding how to operate scanners, label printers, and other warehouse equipment.
- Customer service focus: Ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders by maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
