POSITION TITLE: Analyst, Global Process Owner (GPO)- Order-To-Cash
REPORTING TO: Senior Manager, Order-To-Cash / Transformation Manager OTC
LOCATION: Cebu, Philippines
Summary Description:
As we make the shift to process ownership and stabilization, the focus on driving automation and process improvements globally are now the priority. Reporting to DBS Senior Manager of OTC, this employee is responsible for identifying and execution support of any process automation and improvement initiatives for Order-To-Cash value chain. The GPO Analyst will play a key support role in driving automation and continuous improvement and as well as standardization across the OTC function, from a people, process, and technology perspective.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Drive the assessment and Identification of processes for automation and improvement – OTC Tower
- Partner with the Intelligent Automation and PMDA Teams to track progress and address and escalate roadblocks / showstopper
- Review and assessment of processes for automation and improvement raised by team members
- Develop plans to introduce new automation technologies to increase efficiency and productivity levels within the company
- Responsible for overseeing manual and automated systems within the Tower (OTC). Working closely with engineers and other technical professionals to design, build, test, and implement these improvement systems
- Manage the implementation of the business planning process changes to support the appropriate blend of automated and business process solutions.
- Lead ongoing policy governance, and compliance of work instructions and policies. Drive a consistent approach for work instruction development and maintenance across global locations.
- Drive the development and updates of global process training materials. Coordinate with operational leads to support training delivery as needed.
- Enforce global template and design standards; identify and escalate (if necessary) process deviations that are not driven by local, regulatory or tax considerations
- Conceive and implement improvement opportunities which reduce costs and improve process value.
- Consistently promote integration of best practices and leading trends for OTC Tower
- Coordinate and engage with key stakeholder groups across the SSC, Global and Local/BU functional teams for any automation and process improvement impact
- Support change management and communication efforts for critical transformation projects Develop standards and business rules for data quality maintenance and cleanup
- Evaluate potential automation projects to determine for efficiency, timeliness and criticality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Proven experience in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing automation projects in their organization
- Should have background of finance services or have implemented automation within finance services
- 5+ years of professional experience with background in process improvement, Finance business
- processes (OtC), Operations, program management, change management and/or ERP
- implementation and governance
- Subject matter expert on key (OtC) processes and business requirements. Record to Report
- With Process improvement (LEAN, Six Sigma) or project management expertise.
- Proven knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, along with demonstrated
- ability to analyze financial information and provide solutions to issues.
- Knowledge of reporting processes, including OpCo/BU financial statements, report distribution,
- cost reports, quarterly/annual filings and shareholder reports, etc.
- Experience with Oracle preferred, with a sound understanding of supporting technologies, including Fixed Asset solutions, reporting modules, consolidation engines, allocation methodologies, reconciliation tools, and other leading practice technologies.
- Experience in process design and / or optimization; experience with shared service centers with a finance background
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
