Dover Business Services (DBS) is an independent business to business service provider within Dover Corporation. DBS is accountable for delivering transactional services in Finance to the entire organization. While not directly responsible for the other DBS locations around the world (Suzhou, China, Bangalore, India and Bucharest Romania), the other centers need to leverage the standardization and performance tools used in Cebu to maximize their service delivery to our operating companies (OpCos).

Position Description:
Working through the DBS organization, the Site Director is responsible for staffing, leading, running and monitoring operations for a team based in Cebu, Philippines to prioritize cost containment and drive organizational efficiencies and effective internal controls. The team consists of Finance professionals providing services to the Corporation’s Operating Companies around the globe. This role reports to the Vice President of Operations for Dover Business Services (DBS). This position is based in Cebu, Philippines.
Essential Responsibilities and Competencies:
• Customer Impact / Strategic Business Partner – The leader will serve as a key contact for OpCo CFOs and Site leaders as it relates to the transactional services provided by DBS in the Philippines. This person will be expected to provide excellent customer service in this role by meeting service level agreements and providing consistent communication with key stakeholders utilizing a strategic mindset. This role will also be expected to visit OpCo locations and to host visitors in the Shared Services Center to influence the operational performance and service delivery.
• Identifies and Develops Talent to Build Collaborative Relationships – This role will be engaged in the hiring process and provide day to day supervision for team managers in Accounting
Operations (AP, AR, GL, MDM) and Finance Hub Operations (T&E, Tax, Intercompany, Internal Controls COE, Lease Accounting, Financial Systems, FP&A, Bus. Controls, Compliance). The ability to keep morale high in times of stress, as well as putting a focus on quality execution will be critical.
• Results Driven - Proven results driven versus benchmark statistics; Demonstrated use of automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive performance; Ability to develop, manage and drive productivity and results driven metrics across all services and processes.
• Continuous Process Improvement mindset throughout the organization - Focused on improving processes and implementing automation after activities are migrated into the share service center.
• Operational Excellence – Focused on meeting agreed upon Key Performance Indicators, taking correcting actions where necessary. This role will lead regular operational reviews with OpCos (monthly and quarterly) to review performance and service delivery.
• Transition and Change Leadership – This role will need to balance running the Philippines Shared Service Center operations while overseeing additional transitions of activities into the Center, strong Change Management experience is required.
• Financial Stewardship – Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Regularly review the financial performance of DBS Cebu, including budget to actual analysis, etc. Identify and implement actions in response to such reviews. Reinforce the importance of financial stewardship in communications and actions.
• Internal Controls - Effectively oversee and critically evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting, including IT General Controls for systems centrally managed by DBS, controls performed by DBS Cebu on behalf of the OpCos and other controls specific to DBS itself.
• Demonstrated experience with Financial Processes (AP, AR, GL, MDM, T&E, Tax, FP&A, Intercompany, Internal Controls, Financial Systems) will be critical to success.
• Experience with oversight of SOX 404 internal control programs
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field in Finance preferred
• 10-15+ years of professional experience in Finance Shared Services environment. Experience in a large-scale Shared Service organization and managing a team is highly preferred.
• Bilingual including English with excellent verbal/written communication skills
• High personal integrity, honesty and trust are essential
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Comfortable working in an unstructured global organization with the ability to leverage resources from corporate headquarters and divisions.
• Analytical, problem solving, and change management skills
