  • Ensure full compliance with SOX, US GAAP, IFRS (as applicable), and Dover accounting policies

  • Embed control execution within daily processes; work that does not meet control and documentation standards is not considered complete

  • Establish and reinforce a culture where quality, integrity, and policy adherence are non-negotiable

  • Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, and recurring issues; drive remediation through root cause analysis

  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of audit findings and control deficiencies

  • Ensure intercompany balances are complete, accurate, and reconciled with appropriate supporting documentation

  • Drive timely identification and resolution of aged intercompany balances and discrepancies

  • Exercise sound judgment in balancing timeliness and quality, ensuring quality and control requirements are not compromised for speed

  • Ensure full transparency of risks and issues during close; no material issues are deferred without visibility and action plans

  • Reduce rework, recurring issues, and post-close adjustments through improved process discipline and review effectiveness

4) Transformation, Standardization, and Productivity Improvement

  • Lead intercompany process improvement initiatives with accountability for measurable outcomes

  • Drive standardization and global alignment of intercompany processes and policies across operating companies

  • Identify structural inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve scalability, efficiency, and consistency

  • Initiate and lead process changes in partnership with Corporate Accounting, Transformation Lead (RTR), and stakeholders

  • Use data and trend analysis to identify improvement opportunities and track results over time

  • Ensure all process changes are implemented with appropriate controls, documentation, and communication

5) Stakeholder Partnership and Process Leadership

  • Provide structured onboarding, coaching, and ongoing mentorship

  • Differentiate performance appropriately and address underperformance proactively

  • Develop future leaders and build succession readiness within the team
