Job Title:        Service Parts Supervisor

Location:        Richmond, VA



What we are looking for: 


We are looking for a Service Parts Supervisor, who will be accountable for all inbound material, inventory control and accuracy, and production material flow to support the manufacturing of refrigerated display cases.


What you will be responsible for in this role:


  • Provides leadership to a team of hourly materials team members; ensures a safe work environment, defines expectations, provides resources, coaches/teaches/trains associates, ensures accountability, and provides feedback.
  • Develops, implements, and audits daily standard work.
  • Partners with production to understand resource requirements and ensures appropriate materials are available for production when required.
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement; conducts root cause analysis and develops/implements corrective action plans.
  • Ensures timely response to operational issues impacting customer expectations and project cycle time performance.
  • Understands company policies and engages appropriate resources (HR, Safety, etc.) to handle issues that arise.


What are the basic qualifications?


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a leadership capacity (supervisor, team lead, etc.) with at least 1 year in warehouse environment.


What are the preferred qualifications?


  • Five years’ experience working in a warehouse environment in a leadership capacity.

Essential Physical/Environmental Requirements:


  • May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, or kneeling.
  • Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 50 lbs.).
