Position Summary:

At PSG Cincinnati, the Test Technician works on complex problems in a multi-disciplined team environment resulting in the introduction of new and improved chemical dispensing systems. Test Technicians work under the general guidance of the Test Technician Supervisor and closely with other teams to meet their product and prototype testing needs. The scope of work is from initial test development to final report writing.



  • Perform a variety of testing on current, new, and competitor products.
  • Ability to execute automated tests driven through (PLC, LabView, or other electronic controls)
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on testing protocol to achieve desired outcome
  • Make and record detailed observations on testing and communicate them to others via verbal and written channels.
  • Write and maintain test reports.
  • Maintain 5S plan, PM schedule, and Safe work environment
  • Enter information into global test lab database
  • Communicate project changes and status  updates in a clear and timely manor
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed processes and instructions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage the proper storage and disposal of chemicals within the lab



  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal status to work in the United States.
  • Must possess High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude with previous experience using basic hand tools and following detailed instructions
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat and move for entire shift with breaks
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. to waist and/or shoulder height, with or without assistance.
  • Strong MS Office; Proficiency in Excel is a must. Prior experience with LabView or PLC is preferred.
  • Must have strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously from provided instructions while multitasking and managing priorities independently.
