The Assembler Parts-Cleaner is responsible for safely cleaning parts and sub-assemblies using parts lists, gathering parts and materials.

Requirements: Lift parts, count and place into trays/baskets onto conveyor

  • Operate manual controls to activate equipment
  • Decontaminate parts, prepare, and monitor the Wash/Clean cycle
  • Inspect parts during tray assembly to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
  • Replace malfunctioning equipment, adjust or restart cycle as appropriate and alert Production Manager to need for repair, replacement and adjustment needs
  • Perform processing of parts by priority of need in accordance with scheduling
  • Ensure accurate accounting of parts / type of contents and record initial number of parts cleaned
  • Comply with the highest standards for sterile processing as defined
  • Inspect parts after clean cycle to ensure proper wash function and cleanliness
  • Package cleaned parts & deliver to appropriate work cell
  • Manual dexterity working with very small parts is required
  • Highest level attention to detail is required
  • Highest level of commitment to quality is required
  • Ability to continuously perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and block out distractions
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years assembly experience
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (8 hours)
