Job Title:        Compliance Engineer            

Location:        Keosauqua, IA or Conyers, GA             

 

 

What we are looking for:

 

We are looking for a Compliance Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the current and future product portfolio aligns will relevant regulatory requirements.  Experience with interpreting and implementing industry regulations is required. 

 

What you will be responsible for in this role:

 

  • Understand and implement all applicable design, safety, performance, test, and energy standards (UL 471, DOE, NSF 7, etc.) to current and future product offerings
  • Collaborate with DFR Compliance staff to develop and implement regulatory roadmaps ensuring compliance with current and future regulations as well as drive consistency between DFR segments
  • Be an active participant in relevant industry regulatory activity
  • Represent DFR in interactions with requests from outside governing bodies (DOE, NRCAN, UL, NSF, etc.)
  • Collaborate with all functional areas of the business providing guidance as needed to resolve compliance/regulatory concerns
  • Create and maintain all supporting documentation for both internal use and external governing bodies
  • Provide guidance and drive resolution for compliance related field concerns.
  • Support agency inspections of production facilities
  • Lead Test Lab compliance activities including lab accreditation, ISO 17025 lab procedures, and guidance on industry test standards
  • Interpretation of test data with respects to the applicable performance or energy standards
  • Demonstrate and understanding and adherence to all work safety policies and procedures

 

What are the basic qualifications?

 

  • B.S. in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with application of regulatory standards in a manufacturing organization
