Job Title:        Director, Talent Acquisition            

Location:        Conyers, GA             

 

What we’re looking for:

 

We are looking for a Director, Talent Acquisition, who will be responsible for executing sourcing/recruiting methodologies, developing and executing talent acquisition strategies, managing enterprise acquisition processes and managing and developing a team. This person will support Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to provide a smooth, efficient and compliant full-life cycle recruitment process. 

 

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

 

  • Provide innovative approaches ensuring talent acquisition is performing with accuracy, speed and quality.
  • Works with the Talent Acquisition team, Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners through the recruiting and talent selection process. Leads intake meetings with hiring managers to identify the hiring need, define the right profile, align on the recruitment strategy define expectations for engagement in a service level agreement.
  • Manage recruiting operations and overall implementation of new recruiting tactics and recommend process improvements.
  • Recruits cross-functionally and at various levels within the organization.
  • Utilizes various recruitment tools to source talent and build candidate pipelines, including internal applicant tracking system, employee referrals, job boards, LinkedIn, networking, research, cold calling, job fairs and other sourcing strategies as required.
  • Ability to transition from and to strategic and tactical execution.
  • Builds talent acquisition strategy and employment value proposition. 
  • Interviews and evaluates candidates.
  • Participates in and provides recommendations and feedback on recruitment projects as needed.
  • Develop and execute a university relations program.
  • Experience in managing a team, vendors, and influence through others. 
  • Will leverage our internal HR system to facilitate background checks, drug screens, and general posting and on-boarding requirements.
  • Maintains relationship with inactive/passive candidates and builds a network of strong talent in the marketplace.
  • Provides ongoing communication with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and where necessary, key stakeholders on status of candidates and progress.
  • Ensure best-in-class, equitable recruitment experiences and shape future direction of recruitment technology and processes aligned to Talent Acquisition strategy
  • Utilize analytics to drive recommendations and process improvements in the talent acquisition process.
  • Ensures global compliance with applicable legislation and requirements to mitigate any risks
  • Collaborates with senior leaders to develop goals and plans to meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on TA operations projects and systems
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

What are the basic qualifications?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 10+ years’ experience in talent acquisition
  • 7+ years talent acquisition experience preferably in all areas of manufacturing in a matrix environment.
  • 5+ years’ experience leading a high performing team.

 

What are the preferred qualifications?

 

  • Prior experience recruiting for multiple locations simultaneously.
  • Experience adhering to OFCCP regulations.
  • Advanced degree

  • Experience with various recruitment sourcing techniques (i.e., LinkedIn, specialty sites, employee referrals, cold calling, etc.)
  • A working knowledge of Internet recruiting technology and solid computer proficiency.
  • Demonstrated success in building credible relationships and proactively partnering with business leaders throughout the recruitment and selection process.
  • Demonstrated, performance driven and results orientation with a focus on continuous improvement to ensure efficiency and compliance in all facets of recruitment and selection.
  • Detail oriented with exceptional time management skills and accuracy in presentation of information.
  • Knowledge of current employment laws and legislation.
  • Highly effective communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels of management and employees.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of talent acquisition, vendor management, talent acquisition analytics and process development/improvement. 
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%
