SUMMARY:

Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installs, Repairs Wiring, Electrical Fixtures, Apparatus & Control Equipment
• Measures, Cuts, Bends, Assembles & Installs Electrical Conduit
• Splice Wires by Stripping Installation from Terminal Leads & Soldering Wire Together
• Connects Wiring to Panel Box
• Installs Switches, Relays & Circuit-Breaker Panels
• Connects Power Cables to Equipment and Installs Grounding Leads
• Pulls wiring through conduit.
• Performs Wiring of Standard, Medium, and Complex Panels
• Transformer Wiring
• Tie-in Compressor Panels
• Wire Defrost
• Wire Lights, Receptacles, Fire-stats, T-state

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
