Pay Rate: $17.00
JOB SUMMARY:
- Performs daily inspections on incoming materials such as mechanical, electrical, plastics, gaskets, aluminum extrusions, etc. Verifies parts received are inspected and meet drawing requirements.
- Performs tests, daily tasks, and inspections of product according to specifications on drawings, assists with creation of inspector criteria for new parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Perform daily tasks and tests as directed by QC Lead.
- Inspect incoming materials and verify parts are compliant to drawings, standard work and specification.
- Complete inspection tickets and data collection forms.
- Complete DMR (Defective Materials Report) as indicated on EI 331 or equivalent.
- Assist the Manufacturing Quality Technician (MQT) in performing Fit & Function inspection, thermal imaging, and various testing at the QC Fixture.
- Ensure receiving materials have required certifications on receipts and are stored properly.
- Perform random daily inspections of plant product packaging and shipping process’s. Verify parts are packaged in safe manner according to general standards and are secured in trucks properly to prevent shipping damage.
- Perform daily inspection of incoming material per drawing requirements and receiving inspection criteria.
- Use various instruments to perform inspections – venires, calipers, micrometers, gloss meters, hardness meters, finish meters and C.N.C. profile inspections.
- Maintain detailed files of inspection results and certifications. Update AS400 as required to ensure material dispositions are accurate.
