JOB SUMMARY: 

Performs tests, daily tasks, and inspections of product according to specifications on drawings, Engineering Instructions (EI), and Standard Inspection Procedures (SIP) 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned) 

  • Support the Quality Control (QC) Lead Inspector by performing daily tasks and tests 

  • Inspect product requirements are compliant to drawings, work orders, and EIs 

  • Complete inspection tickets and data collection forms 

 

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Able to make safety the number one priority

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: 

  • Must have a high school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) 

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in manufacturing environment 

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations: 

  • N/A 

Computer Skills: 

  • Able to perform basic functions on a computer including sending emails through Microsoft Outlook 

  • Basic knowledge of AS400 is an advantage but not required 

Mathematical Abilities: 

  • Basic math skills in areas such as addition and subtraction of fractions, conversion of fraction to decimals, conversion from customary to metric system of units using a calculator 

Analytical or Reasoning Abilities: 

  • Analytical and problem solving skills – good judgment 

Communication Skills: (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning) 

  • Able to read and comprehend simple work instructions in English 

  • Able to write simple reports and maintain records in English 

Other Skills: (Technical, or Other special knowledge and abilities) 

  • N/A 

Standard Inspection Equipment: (Measuring Instrumentation/Tools & Apparatuses) 

  • Able to use and read a measuring tape
