<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">What we are looking for:

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) who will be responsible for achieving growth and sales targets by passionately promoting the company brand and products to food retailers, convenience stores, drug stores and dollar stores. The RSM will successfully expand the customer base and create strong customer relationships by satisfying customer needs and demonstrating expertise on how to best to apply refrigerated display case merchandisers and sustainable refrigeration technology. The candidate must have excellent communication, customer and interpersonal skills. The individual should have experience in dealing with individuals at multiple levels of the organization. Key to success in the position is the ability to develop a strategic sales plan, execute a tactical approach to achieving sales goals by combining product knowledge and marketing resources.

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">What you will be responsible for in this role:

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Build a strategic sales plan account by account
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manage and provide factory support to contracted rep groups and dealers
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Conduct sales calls to assigned accounts as well as prospective customers to explain the products and services that our company offers
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Qualify account needs while identifying key mobilizers within a retailer’s organization. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Create and close sales
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Establish a commitment to forecasting business revenue on a month, quarter and annual basis
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">As the key single point of contact with customers in your specific region of influence, you will handle price objections, negotiations, preparation of bids and aftermarket support to strengthen the relationship
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Model a collaborative atmosphere with our customer base that seeks to solve complex problems
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Record, update, and analyze account information to identify sales strategies and objectives
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Gather information on emerging trends within our industry from various sources and applying that knowledge as you work with our product management leaders.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Continually be aware of the expectations and needs of our customers and suppliers.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">50% travel anticipated to spend in front of customers
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Meet with Customers, Prospects, and Suppliers at their facilities on scheduled and unscheduled basis

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">What are the basic qualifications?

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience and responsibilities. Experience must include technical sales experience in a refrigeration industry related environment.

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">What are the preferred qualifications?

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Basic understanding of refrigeration and construction requirements for intended applications
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Willing to travel on a regular basis to attend required meetings, customer visits, etc.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Effective problem-solving capability
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with customers and others across all levels and functions of the business
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Individual must collaborate and establish strong working relationships with customers, contractors, field service, industry peers and others as needed
