Job Title:        Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner            

Location:        Conyers, GA or Remote           

 

What we’re looking for:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner will support key searches within the Dover Food Retail and work closely with our leadership team(s). The primary focus will be to provide full life cycle recruiting for professional level to mid management level roles.  Accountabilities include sourcing and screening candidates, providing detailed candidate assessments, and acting as a consultant to hiring managers and HR throughout the selection and offer process.  The Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner is also accountable for managing interactions with candidates in accordance with employment laws and in a manner that fosters transparency and respect.  This position reports to the Director, Talent Acquisition. 

 

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

 

  • Recruit cross-functionally and at various levels within the organization.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Hiring Managers (HMs) to determine workforce needs- current and future openings and job specific criteria 
  • Accountable for directly sourcing, interviewing, and presenting candidates who meet the minimum basic qualifications for assigned position.
  • Acting as a consultant and single point of contact to the hiring managers.
  • Conducting Intake Meetings with hiring managers and HR to identify sourcing strategies, communication plan, and set timelines for completion. 
  • Provides ongoing communication and regular updates with Director, Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers, HR, and other key stakeholders on status of candidates and progress.
  • Adherence to recruiting process and demonstrates best practices. 
  • Properly move candidates through recruiting steps and disposition as needed in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates diversity awareness and utilizes sourcing techniques that reach a diverse population.
  • Identify risks/challenges and develop action plan for aging requisitions.
  • Understanding key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activities and build effective strategies to meet goals 
  • Leveraging external market data, vendors, sourcing channels and the latest technology to create talent pools.
  • Leading debrief meetings with HM and interview team as well as managing feedback to candidates.
  • Utilizes various recruitment tools to source talent and build candidate pipelines, including internal applicant tracking system, employee referrals, job boards, social networking, research, cold calling, job fairs and other sourcing strategies as required.
  • Maintains relationship with inactive/passive candidates and builds a network of strong talent in the marketplace.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What are the preferred qualifications?

 

  • Experience recruiting in a manufacturing environment including Engineers, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and other professional roles
  • Prior experience recruiting for multiple locations simultaneously
  • Experience adhering to OFCCP regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in marketing/sourcing techniques to include: lead generation, networking, referrals, cold calling, campus, military and other interactive strategies
  • Understanding of executive compensation programs (LTIP, equity, deferred compensation, etc.)
  • Search firm or agency recruiting experience

  • Demonstrated success in building credible relationships and proactively partnering with business leaders throughout the recruitment and selection process.
  • Detail oriented with exceptional time management skills and accuracy in presentation of information.
  • Knowledge of current employment laws and legislation.
  • Highly effective communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels of management and employees
