Perform simple assembly operations in a fast paced, high volume environment.  Assemble multiple components into lower volume, medium size and weight assemblies and larger finished goods.  Work to verbal instructions, written instructions, and established guidelines.  This position does not typically require exercising independent judgment.  This position works under the immediate supervision of the department Lead.  Additional instructions may be provided by a department Team Leader, Supervisor and/or Manager, as applicable.


  • Operate and tend to light to medium duty machines.
  • Perform manual assembly operations.
  • Count, weigh and package products and accessories.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Use jigs, fixtures, soldering irons, crimping tools and small manual and power hand tools.
  • Use hand trucks, carts and racks to handle and move product.
  • Lift, move and carry containers, components, assemblies or other items weighing up to 30 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Use scales, bag sealers, tape dispensing and other equipment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for 2 hours at a time.


  • High School diploma and/or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of work experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.


  • Knowledge of applicable best business practices and procedures for fabrication and assembly environments.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Good Manual Dexterity.
  • Good Visual Acuity.
  • Ability to solder.
