Job Summary:

This is a high-impact cross-functional position, working closely with senior-level operations managers and requires an understanding of Finance and Operations in a manufacturing environment. Key departmental interface and support will include Production, Purchasing, Production Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, workflows, and master data supporting it.


You will be responsible for Business Project Management and will drive data-driven insights, gap analyses, and projects to highlight opportunities to achieve global operational efficiency. You will make recommendations for new metrics and system/process improvements while maintaining established business performance indicators and dashboards tied to P&L improvement.


Job Duties:

  • Identify PPV and supplier invoice discrepancies and drive corrections through Buyers
  • Perform data integrity reviews
  • Perform production forecast and master scheduling
  • Design, develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports to support ongoing Operational projects, performance goals and identify constraints
  • Fully utilize MRP/ERP system to optimize and drive real-time data analysis
  • Provide audit data as assigned on supply chain, inventory, production, Gross, and Net Productivity.
  • Provide data and dashboard for YOY, quarter to quarter, month to month, etc.. performance comparisons to P&L, Budget, Expenses, Productivity, and Inventory –provide contributing factor analysis
  • Develop data models to aid in greater understanding of the impact of manufacturing activities to financial performance and corporate KPI’s.
  • Dashboards must represent all global manufacturing and distribution sites
  • Work to identify underperforming issues and develop metrics that represent root cause analysis and recovery
  • Support corporate L2 (Level 2) and MBR data collection in preparation for Dover reviews
  • All other requirements as assigned.
  • Support daily continuous improvement efforts through data analysis and reporting
  • Act as an auditing entity in support of corporate financial and KPI goals and requirements
  • Understand and drive key inventory initiatives

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 5 -7 years’ experience in a financial or business support/supply chain role
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing and financial reporting within operations
  • In-depth knowledge of MRP/ERP
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of statistical models

Education Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management
