JOB SUMMARY:

This is a high-impact cross-functional position, working closely with business leaders and requires a deep understanding of Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment. Key departmental interface and support will include Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance. Responsible for Business Project Management and will drive data-driven insights, gap analyses, and projects to highlight opportunities to achieve global operational efficiency. You will make recommendations for new metrics and system/process improvements while maintaining established business performance indicators and dashboards tied to P&L improvement.

JOB DUTIES:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide global dashboards and analysis for Productivity (cost savings), Inventory, Forecast Accuracy and other KPI’s.

  • Understand and drive key inventory and working capital initiatives including:

    • Consignment Program

    • Supply Chain Financing

  • Perform bill of material analysis to support obsolescence process.

  • Fully utilize MRP/ERP system to optimize and drive real-time data analysis.

  • Design, develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support ongoing Operational projects, performance goals and identify constraints.

  • Work to identify underperforming issues and develop metrics that represent root cause analysis and recovery.

  • Perform data integrity reviews.

  • Lead Global Productivity initiative, report monthly progress and drive continuous process improvement efforts.

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Primary backup for buyer planner roles.

  • Support production forecast and master scheduling.

  • Perform general purchasing responsibilities as required to support ongoing production requirements. Including pricing, invoicing, and commercial issue resolution.

    • Manage purchase order release process, blanket orders, and consignment min max programs.

    • Ensure production and customer service departments receive comprehensive, adequate, accurate and timely communications.

  • Conduct request for quotation (RFQ) events to apply competitive tension in parts sourcing to ensure best total cost of ownership.

  • Participates in the implementation and maintenance of total cost savings programs.

  • Provide guidance and training to departments and company personnel in procurement procedures, methods, and administration of requirements.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 - 7 years experience in supply chain role.

  • 2 - 3 years experience in a business support/supply chain analyst role.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • In-depth knowledge of MRP/ERP in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Advance understanding of bills of materials.
  • Problem-solving skills, analytical, detail orientated.
  • Continuous improvement methods such as Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Communicates effectively, builds commitment, and overcomes obstacles.
  • Ability to support multiple tasks in parallel.
  • BS Degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Master’s Degree a plus.
  • Professional Certifications in Supply Chain, Operations or Inventory Management preferred.

Work Arrangement : Onsite  

Salary Range : $80,000.00   - $90,000.00
