What will you do

As a Sales Engineer, you will support the commercial sales team to develop the business toward customers in EMEA, where you will provide technical expertise, support, and guidance. This role includes a wide range of areas, such as technical and commercial support, project management for customer projects, product selections, product promotion to customers, application know-how, and other related tasks like quotations, prototypes, and production setups.


Together with commercial Sales Managers you will identify, develop and follow up on opportunities and projects within the Building Services industry which can include customer meetings, product presentations, etc.

The position is the key link between the market, sales, and all other departments within SWEP where you will have many interactions. In this role, you will also be part of different projects and other assignments


Your background

  • You have a university degree in a technical field (mechanical, energy, thermodynamics, or related).
  • Preferably more than 3 years of working experience in a sales environment, ideally from the HVAC or Building Services applications
  • CIBSE certification or working towards it, and a proven track of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) would be an advantage,
  • Experience in selection tools and CRM systems is a plus
  • Experience in project management

You are self-driven, proactive, and highly goal-oriented with an interest in energy/environment. You are structured, a team player with the ability to build relationships with customers and all functions within SWEP, locally as well as globally. You should have the ability to work with a wide range of tasks in a matrix setup.
