Dover is in the midst of large digital transformation and we recently opened up Dover digital labs in Watertown, MA. Digital Product Manager is responsible for developing business&product strategy, customer requirements collection, product roadmaps and evangelizing Dover digital platform. This requires working collaboratively cross functional & cross-company personnel and executives. Also this role will be working closely with architects, data scientists, development team.

In this role, you will be expected to have deep understanding of  our SaaS products, required technical skills in technologies and experience in driving revenue growth. In addition, you should possess a good comfort level to help Dover companies understand how Internet of Things solutions among other SaaS products may enable new business models, revenue streams and affect their competitive positioning.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Build a deep understanding of our customer and business needs that you then translate into product strategy and roadmaps
  • Craft a compelling product vision with clearly defined customer problems and the planned solutions to address them.
  • Run collaborative user research studies to create better user experiences
  • Identify new product solutions that have a meaningful impact for the business and our customers
  • Lead product development from end to end: Write specs and user stories, review wireframes and prototypes, assist with test plans and release checklists.
  • Guide the team’s work with clear direction and purpose, keeping a well-prioritized backlog and optimizing for efficiency in execution
  • Work closely with architects, data scientists, program management & engineering teams to define, prioritize the requirements & deliver the connected product roadmap targets
  • Lead cross functional team through Stage Gate process to develop new products.
  • Perform product demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze market data, customer insights, product performance, and making strategic recommendation about product and product line roadmaps.
  • Track projects against set objectives, analyze and evaluate success of the projects, and pursue path to optimization.
  • Evangelize Digital platform & program for adoption

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience of technical product management and analytical role.
  • 4+ years of experience with SaaS product management.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, data modeling, agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence
  • Proven track record of SaaS product strategy, roadmap definition to revenue generation.
  • Excellent presentation skills to define & communicate product strategy, product demonstrations
  • Ability to work with senior executives to articulate the strategy and teams on the ground to communicate the product requirements
  • Ability to document product requirements, communicate to the engineering teams.
  • Good understanding of agile development methodologies, project management & team collaboration tools
  • Experience in a position where you were comfortable talking about technology with business partners and business with technical partners.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and communicate with complex matrixed teams across the globe
  • Able to work independently and provide updates to management
  • Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills, for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Up to 10% travel.
