KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Corporate Vice President of HR, the Human Resources Generalist will work closely with members of the corporate HR Business Partner team to support individual employees and client groups across all areas of HR. 

 

Specifically, this person will:

 

  • Manage recurring HR activities, such as weekly onboarding, monthly new-hire meetings, and other employee events.
  • Act as the point-of-contact for Dover immigration vendor, and coordinate activities between employees, managers, and HR Business Partners.
  • Develop communication materials for strategic HR initiatives and annual processes to ensure thoughtful and timely engagement with the corporate team. 
  • Act as the Project Manager for Works Council approval of corporate initiatives across various Dover business.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to support various leadership development programs.
  • Partner with various HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Compensation, HR Operations, etc…) on key strategic projects. 
  • Develop, analyze and report, key performance metrics for the corporate functions.
  • Provide interim HR Generalist support for Dover Operating Companies when necessary. 
  • Review and process invoices for HR vendors. 
  • Support HR Central reporting requests on a regular basis for cross functional teams.
  • Act as a System Administrator for the Corporate HR team – processing requisitions, offers, and employee data changes.
  • Enter and track payroll or HRIS tickets for changes that require escalation for approval/processing.
  • Maintain electronic employee HR files.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of Human Resources experiences.
  • Strong analytics skills.
  • Exposure to HR principles, practices, and laws.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills - should be able to create vlookup formulas, pivot tables, and pivot charts.
  • Experience in HRIS required, using SuccessFactors HRIS a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

EDUCATION

An undergraduate degree is required.
