HR Shared Services – Portal Content Management Senior Specialist

Position Summary

The primary focus of this role will be managing documentation and content for the HR Shared Service portal. This individual will have the responsibility of ensuring up to date information and documentation for employees, managers, and HR to reference on the internal Dover HR portal. This includes working closely with many local HR and corporate groups.

Job Functions:

  • Author and review knowledge base content to promote support scalability and improve self-service capabilities
  • Create and manage a governance structure for new portal content
  • Ensure technical connectiveness from the HR portal to other internal sites at Dover
  • Play a major role in the continuous improvement of the content management team
  • Serve as the system administrator for the knowledge base and HR system to provide service excellence
  • Create and maintain a seamless end-user experience in the Dover HR portal
  • Lead the migration of current HR information and knowledge resources (e.g., policies, guides, articles) into the new HR portal
  • Create and deliver training for HR on portal management
  • Proactively identify gaps in the knowledge management content
  • Review and communicate portal metrics to HR leadership
  • Work cross-functionally across local and corporate teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communicator
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to meet deadlines and possess strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience in building and managing a knowledge base

Preferred Experience:

  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Prior experience in HR
  • Prior experience with knowledge base systems and documentation
  • Prior experience with SuccessFactors
