Position Summary:


The Manufacturing Systems Process Leader will play a pivotal role in the journey to maximizing utilization of the manufacturing functions in our ERPs to make manufacturing resources as efficient as possible, while minimizing system customization but maximizing ROI through adoption of core / configured-functionality. You will work on partnering with the functional leaders in the business to identify underutilized functionality in enterprise systems, adopt standard / best-practices, and drive functional change to enable Lean Manufacturing constructs. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


This role will work closely with the Dover Business Services, Operating Company and Segment controllers, and other Dover IT teams. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Standardizing and optimizing manufacturing business processes across Dover operating companies and drive business results by achieving KPI driven goals
  • Owns plan-to-produce business flow providing an end-to-end solution to enable the plan, schedule, and manage discrete manufacturing operations and optimize supply chain
  • Deep experience with plan to manufacturing processes such as MRP, MSP, OM, IM, WMS, and master data mgmt.
  • Take ownership of Manufacturing ERP solutions from requirement gathering to delivery
  • Provide governance of all ERP manufacturing implementation work by internal resources and third parties.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Provide oversight and direction to Business Application Manufacturing team
  • Support critical and high priority Oracle service requests
  • Work with Global Process Owners to maintain the governance model for Oracle Cloud and other ERP manufacturing modules across the enterprise: maintain guidelines, review/approve core process changes
  • Partner with Dover operating companies IT leader to implement and process standards and lead continuous improvement initiatives in the Manufacturing and Planning areas
  • Participate in planning and execution of enhancement projects to improve manufacturing processing on ERP platforms, including integration of data to and from Oracle
  • Ensure that the Manufacturing team is acting as subject matter experts for multiple on premises and Cloud ERPs and any bolt-on 3rd party systems; stay up to date with technology changes and application techniques
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Develop effective communication and plans around technology changes to team members and external stake holders (DBS management, Segment leadership, opco controllers)


Qualifications / Requirements/Desired Characteristics:


  • Minimum of B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar required
  • Experience designing Oracle ERP processes and standards required
  • 5+ years of IT experience, with 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • 3+ years of hands-on SCM implementation experience required
  • 3+ years of plan to manufacturing processes experience such as MRP, MSP, IM required
  • PL/SQL knowledge is required
  • Oracle Cloud experience is a plus
  • Experience developing application roadmaps for Oracle ERP is a plus
  • Configuration Management is a plus
  • Cross-functional team leadership experience
  • Experience working on process transformation and development of effective change management procedures
  • Experience working with Oracle support service team for critical and high priority service requests
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff and convey complex ideas both verbally and in written form
  • Travel occasionally to support key projects, including implementations, etc.
