Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and share competitive intelligence to stakeholders
  • Analyze M&A deal models for reasonableness and accuracy
  • Partner with key business leaders to evaluate opportunities and drive to informed decisions
  • Support functional work streams on M&A transactions (deal scoping, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders), due diligence, contract negotiation, and pre-close needs and requirements
  • Supporting all parts of generating, managing, and executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
  • Contribute to the valuation and deal structuring of M&A transactions
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across various functions, including finance, operations, HR, and legal, to align strategic initiatives with business goals and drive execution excellence
  • Communication and Presentation: Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and strategic updates to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress on acquisition and divesture opportunities
  • Provide adhoc support for investor relations and strategy projects 


Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, financial due diligence, or valuation
  • Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial statements with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience developing complex financial models, performing ad hoc analyses, and conducting company valuations using various methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
