To continue the growth and strengthen our market position in the laundry equipment segment we are looking for a


Business Development Manager (f/m/d) - Laundry


starting in April 2021, located in Europe.



Your primary responsibilities:


  • Drive revenue in a targeted market by leveraging customer engagement, technical aptitude, and positioning a customized value proposition with new and existing clients
  • Collaborate with account managers on account specific equipment and IOT value propositions and sales strategies
  • Proactively understand the customer strategy and needs, customizing the solution to align and drive adoption
  • Drive customers to grow/diversify into new markets leveraging Hydro expertise in the marketplace
  • Create equipment and digital revenue generation opportunities, particularly re-occurring digital revenue opportunities
  • Develop, establish, maintain, and manage relationships with key influential contacts of customers
  • Coordinate complex, cross-functional, multi-company growth projects
  • Interface with product managers, engineering, and sales to develop new products, create business cases, execute field trial plans, and product launches that are aligned with overall product life cycle strategies
  • Drive development of value-added customer materials and training


Your profile:


  • 4 year degree bachelors degree from accredited university
  • Prior customer interfacing responsibilities (ex. sales, business development, technical service etc.) with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in selling the values of a premium product offering
  • History of achieving sales goals using a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Success in driving IOT revenue streams is a plus
  • Technical aptitude in commercial and on-premise laundry applications preferred
  • Fluent in English (written and oral), fluent in Spanish (written and oral) would be a plus
