Position Summary:

                                                                                            

Providing comprehensive HR support as part of the wider HR team, to meet the needs and objectives of the business and employees.  Accountable for the accurate input and maintenance of employee data within all HR systems, in line with GDPR.   Support the Operation by delivering a transparent HR service.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Working as a support for the Senior HR Manager, coaching and assisting the local HR team;
  • Responsible for the department in the absence of the Senior HR Manager when required;
  • Working on projects which require competencies in integration and change management;
  • Acting as a point of contact for Senior Management across the organisation, partnering them as required ensuring that employment best practice is adhered to at all time;
  • Talent development:  ensuring that L&D and training is fit for purpose, using training needs analysis to determine skill gaps within the organisation and working with stakeholders and managers to ensure that suitable training is developed when and where required;
  • Working with new employees in terms of onboarding and championing cultural development and other initiatives as required;
  • Overseeing the team usage of HR systems, collecting and analysing data as part of continuous improvement;
  • Operational HR - support the HR team to ensure that ER case work is handled efficiently and to a high standard;
  • Support the business in terms of recruitment, including general recruitment needs and succession planning;
  • Working with senior managers across the organisation as well as updating key stakeholders in changes or updates to employment law legislation when required.

     

    Candidate Experience and Qualification:

     

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within a similar role, within a fast paced Manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrable Generalist HR experience,
  • Project Management and continuous improvement experience, an organised and methodical approach to work, with demonstrable experience of working within an evolving culture
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
  • Experience using HR Software e.g. Success Factors
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
