Position Summary:

Dover Fueling Solutions (“DFS”) Marketing Communication (MarCom) Specialist will support the EMEA Marketing Communications Manager and global MarCom team in a wide range of activities with focus on B2B Social Media, internal and external communication, brand implementation, digital marketing, customer events, and local PR. The role is dynamic and proactive, which will involve frequent communication with colleagues and business partners around the world and support in extensive range of international projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and executing global social media strategy (aligned with the product business unit plans) through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
  • Working with the global MarCom team to generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video and/or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the EMEA social media data/metrics, insights and best practices and then acting on the information.
  • Write editorials and press releases for the DFS EMEA product lines in support of product business units marketing strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate brand standards internally and among distributors.
  • Support in online marketing activities, such as preparations of email marketing and maintenance of global websites.
  • Ensure alignment of marketing activities fit the product business units global strategy.
  • Support designing of new marketing collaterals such as brochures, posters, newsletters, etc. Responsible for updates and distribution of marketing collaterals.
  • Support internal communications for the DFS EMEA regions.
  • Coordination local customer events.
  • Adhere to EMEA MarCom budget.
  • Special assignments as needed or required.


Desired Qualifications/skills

  • BSc in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or relevant field
  • Extensive experience with social media including building and maintaining a social media strategy for a B2B business
  • Experience with CRM specifically Salesforce.com
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with HTML code
  • Must have strong people skills and organizational skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic and confident attitude
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
