Shot-peening equipment to shallow form and improve metal surfaces.

 

  • Set up and adjust shot-peening equipment to achieve specified contour
  • Fills hopper with specific size and type shot
  • Mounts part on jig, rotary table
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
  • Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel & Stainless Steel.
  • Ability to use grinding tools 
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to lift heavy items manually or using hoist
  • Ability to drive forklift to load/unload peener
  • Candidate has to be a strong team player
  • Candidate has to be reliable    
  • Follow all safety rules and quality standards
  • Follow all company rules and policies

Work Environment

Work in this position is both in an office and a factory floor environment, either locally or at a customer site.  While performing the duties of this job in a factory setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and PPE may be required.
