Main position objectives
The Engineering Workflow Coordinator provides support in scheduling, job order, documentation processing, and materials management for the Maag family of equipment including die plates and die plate related items. This position will be a support group to the Die Plate engineering/ manufacturing team at the Eagle Rock Facility.
Position description – Tasks, responsibilities, competencies
- Assist the Die Plate Engineering & manufacturing Team in creating technical documentation packets for manufacturing (processing), creating BOM’s and assisting with part numbers.
- Monitor the die plate engineering schedule to maintain prompt timing of the release of documentation packets to the manufacturing department.
- Create purchase order requisitions for materials and outside services
- Monitoring material planner workbench for inventory replenishment using ERP/ Kanban system.
- Monitor the die plate manufacturing schedule, assuring individual orders stay on track for on-time delivery
- Following up on status of purchase orders for materials and outside services to maintain on-time delivery of finished die plate products
- Work collaboratively with the Die Plate department in suggesting / implementing improvements to workflow, processes, & technical documentation
- Assist in Continuous Improvement efforts with the Die Plate department
- Other tasks as assigned

The incumbent is obliged to perform tasks requested by management that relate to the position scope or arise from company needs.
Work Environment
Work in this position is in an office and a factory floor environment, either locally or at a customer site. While performing the duties of this job in a factory setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and PPE is required.
