Job Summary
 

The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic management and growth of the OK International business through our channels to market in EMEA and India.  The Channel Marketing Manager will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Product Management to lead and execute strategy and communication to distribution, manufacturers reps and sales for OK International.

Reporting to the Global Marketing Manager and the EMEA Sale Director

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Key roles and responsibilities will fall into the following categories:

  • Develop and execute Channel Marketing strategy and priorities
    • Develop strategies for OK International to grow our sales through distribution using promotions, stocking strategy, volume pricing and other vehicles for growth.
    • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and follow-up action plans with premium distributors
    • Drive customer-based POS from distribution partners
    • Support the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to Add/Rationalize regional distribution based on need and performance
    • Lead and manage Co-Op advertising spend with distribution including reporting and metrics
    • Lead development of launch packages for channel including stocking package materials, literature, promotional material and trainings for the channel.
    • Lead EMEA print advertising through key trade journals and industry partners.
    • Manage and build strategy for growth through Amazon marketplace  the Broad line Channel Segment and add Channel in the segment as required.
    • Develop and Maintain all online content held in the Broadline Segment and ensure all NPIs are correct adopted
    • Lead all communication to Channel on NPI, Product updates and other relevant announcements
    • Support the annual price review process and communication to the channel and market of the pricing information.
    • Develop and manage training calendar with RSMs & distribution
    • Manages outside vendors including PR, Photographers, Graphics Design, Booth Design, video production, Translation and others as required to execute strategy and project priorities
    • Lead and execute with global marketing team catalog development.
    • Develop and manage trade shows and events with Sales and Marketing leadership
  • Business Processes and Reporting
    • Create and record key processes for channel management activities.
    • Utilize performance metrics and analytics to gauge program effectiveness and present to Leadership Team.
    • Manage channel marketing budget, monthly forecasting and marketing purchase order process.
      Education and Experience Profile
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, marketing or related technical field)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with Industrial distribution, MRO, Electronic Component or Test & Measurement distribution
     

 

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Salesforce.com or similar CRM experience
  • Presentation and Communication skills
  • Project Management
  • Full Driving License

Travel

  • Travel as needed. Up to 20%
