Our Assemblers build, test, and package medium to large-sized parts and products. Assemblers read blueprints, use handheld tools, and operate medium-sized machines to assemble products, and perform product tests to ensure quality standards.
Other tasks include:
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to verify assembly process and quality requirements.
• Follow assembly procedures to build complex parts, using hand tools and various machinery.
• Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
• Move workpieces and parts with clamps into machines.
• Clean parts using washing tub, water, cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
• Pack finished parts for shipment, including assembling boxes, lining boxes, inserting foam, placing products in boxes, closing, and labeling.
• Examine products and perform quality checks, including measuring pressure and checking for leaks.
• Identify quality issues, determines causes, and reworks parts as necessary.
• Operate paint booth.
• Understand the importance of Continuous Improvement (CI) and participate in events to support CI initiatives.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Individuals who have experience in production or manufacturing is preferred.

We are looking for individuals with strong attention to detail, the willingness and ability to learn, and ability to follow repetitive assembly procedures.

• Working knowledge of the English language, both oral and written.
• Ability to perform all work in a safe manner.
• Strong attention-to-detail with ability to read fine print.
• Ability to learn new machines and production procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to push 200 pounds on manual pallet jack safely.
• Ability to operate electric pallet jack safely.
• Ability to operate high-pressure air & N2 test equipment safely.
• Ability to safely operate power hand tools.
• Manual dexterity (i.e., the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements to grasps and manipulate objects of varying sizes).
• Ability to stand for up to 9 hours a day.
• Ability to actively listen and follow instructions.
