Human Resource Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist plays an integral role in the organization by providing full range HR support to the RegO locations in Elon, Whitsett, Conover, and Burlington, NC.  In this role, you will be the liaison between Human Resources and Functional Leadership to support business needs while improving the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and programs.  We are seeking a strong leader to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where all employees work to realize our company’s established objectives.  Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of this role. This position requires flexibility with assigned duties and willingness to take on new tasks.  It is critical that the Human Resources Generalist effectively demonstrates a hands-on attitude, willing to go the extra distance to ensure employee expectations are met and communicate concisely and honestly within the HR department and to all employees, managers, and the leadership team.   Must be able to contribute in a fast-paced environment. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Working with operations leadership teams, creates programs to drive positive employee relations.
  • Partnering with local management teams, facilitates employee engagement activities to support a culture of high performance and inclusion.
  • Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations headcount strategy for current and future needs.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; required to collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand skills and competencies required for job openings.
  • Support current and future business needs through employee development, engagement, and motivation.
  • Provide support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive employee questions and issues arise; required to execute tasks in delicate circumstances such as reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Provide HR reporting and recommendations to management and leadership using HR metrics.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Some local travel will be required between facilities.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Fluently Bilingual: Spanish/English
  • Process orientation and embrace technology.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and other HR application systems and databases

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Also Bring

  • PHR/SPHR Certification
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment.
