POSITION SUMMARY:

The Analyst position is a key team member at Parts Central working closely with all departments and directly with customers. This role is responsible for price administration, key account rebates, financial and operational reporting, processing invoices, and analytics on the business.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Coordinate the annual return process with the dealers and evaluate the potential returned inventory.
  • Supervise direct report with the invoicing process
  • Administer the key account rebate processes and distribute monthly reports.
  • Responsible for supporting Finance with all month-end close invoicing activity.
  • Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Processing and verifying all invoices and credits prior to distributing to customers.
  • Prepares special reports such as cost estimates, pricing recommendations and adhoc analyses as required.
  • Ensuring all work orders and system status codes are correct before processing orders for invoicing.
  • Collect freight data and enter monthly fright journal entries at month end close to charge fright off to correct cost centers.
  • Work with IT on testing upgrades to DSI and resolving DSI connectivity issues when they arise.
  • Must be familiar with and maintain compliance to all ESG internal controls and Code of Ethics.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Experience in processing daily entries and creating reports
  • Ability to define problems, collect relevant data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, keeps timelines and meets deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize efficiently.
  • High attention to detail, ensures accuracy in completion of work.
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships throughout the organization.
