Operating Company: Environmental Solutions Group - Heil Environmental

Location:  Fort Payne, AL

Reports to:  Test Lab Manager

Department:  Research and Validation Engineering

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Conduct and document tests, design test fixtures, design tests to validate new design, and ensure all data is correct. Duties include conducting tests, writing technical reports, designing tests, writing programs, and performing analysis via Electrification Data. This position also requires the development of advanced instrumentation knowledge, CAD software and computer skills.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Data acquisition.
  • Electrification actuation.
  • Perform post process analysis of data received from the acquisition equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and structural problems.
  • Operate electronic instrumentation in multiple configurations, which includes transducers, sensors, strain gages, and measurement devices.
  • Must be able to adapt to ever changing tasks.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Perform electrical examination.
  • Patience to evaluate multiple solutions to a problem.
  • Advanced computer skills or aptitude for learning.
  • Willingness to learn advanced measurement and additional skills.
  • Test design.
  • Pro-E / Solid Works
  • Provide results in a clear and concise lab report.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering required, or equivalent experience is required. 
  • 5 years or more work experience.
