Position Summary:  
The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality technical solutions on the Salesforce platform for PSG. This role will focus on building custom applications, managing integrations with other business systems, and ensuring the technical health and optimization of PSG’s Salesforce environment. You will collaborate closely with PSG’s internal teams to translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical implementations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Serve as a key technical resource on the Salesforce platform, leveraging expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and platform APIs.
•    Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions, including applications, components, and integrations to meet business requirements.
•    Manage and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other critical business systems (e.g., ERP, Marketing Automation) using APIs (REST/SOAP) and middleware platforms.
•    Perform hands-on configuration and customization of the Salesforce platform, including custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, process builder, and flows.
•    Collaborate with administrators and analysts to troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
•    Contribute technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and deployment procedures.
•    Support data migration activities and ensure data integrity within the Salesforce environment.
•    Work with the Dover Digital team and other third-party vendors as a PSG technical lead on Salesforce and related projects.
•    Performs other duties as required.

 

Qualifications / Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
•    4+ years of work experience in software development roles, with 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Visualforce).
•    Proven experience developing and managing integrations using Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration tools/middleware.
•    Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security model, and governor limits.
•    Proficiency in Salesforce configuration tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, etc.).
•    Solid understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
•    Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II or other relevant certifications are a strong plus.
•    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
•    Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
