Summary: This position is responsible for development of marketing and communications strategies aligned with PSG’s objectives and goals.  Marketing strategies and tactics will be focused on increasing brand awareness, globalization and vertical market segmentation. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for key brands and communication strategies within a select vertical market along with responsibility for the creation and development of marketing collateral that is in alignment with our commercial strategies.  This position will assist with Voice of Customer (VOC), marketing analytics and market intelligence.  This role will engage with multiple facilities and disciplines such as product management, engineering, sales and business development. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the stewardship and management of the Grand Terrace marketing budget.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or related field. MBA level or advanced degree preferred.


Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related fields
  • Experience in B2B Industrial Sales & Marketing
  • Global environment experience 
  • Fluid Management or Pump Knowledge experience desired but not required 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools and Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Channel management and marketing experience
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photo Shop, Illustrator) preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including some copywriting skills
  • Outstanding listening, and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast pace, dynamic environment
  • Ability to stay current on new marketing methodologies and technologies
  • Impeccable organization and efficiency skills; strong attention to detail
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated, works with little supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, manage and develop direct report
  • Design, implement, and executes internal and external marketing communications plan for individual brands
  • Develop strategy and tactics for brands, product launches, lead generation and lead nurturing as well as follow up reporting 
  • Assist with PSG GT Marketing Activities both Strategic and Tactical
  • Assist with Vertical Market Intelligence and Analytics
  • Directs and creates marketing collateral that is aligned with our Global sales strategies  and Business development strategies
  • Manages PSG GT Brands via promotion and vertical market integration
  • Works with Multi-Disciplines - Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Business Development - to Develop Go To Market Strategy
  • Executes External & Internal communications
  • Manages Marketing Budget
  • Domestic travel 10% - limited travel
  • All other duties assigned

Work Environment: 

Works majority of the day in an office, which is a climate-controlled environment, except for occasionally visits to the manufacturing floor, which is subject to moderate changes in temperature. The manufacturing environment is subject to moderate changes in temperature and the employee will be exposed to typical hazards of noise, flying debris, and overhead hazards requiring the use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
