The Marketing Specialist plays a creative role, helping grow the company's social media presence, audience, and interactions to optimize the company and its products' presence on the global social media landscape and, through these channels, indirectly increase sales.

In specific, the role owner will support two Markem-Imaje brands, MS Printing Solutions and JK Group from the office based in Guanzate, Como. This is a Global role, driving brand excellence on a worldwide scale.

The Marketing Specialist coordinates all social media activities, from supporting strategy creation and planning to content creation, execution, and reporting. Collaborates closely with Sales teams, Product/Category technical managers, and other departments such as Human Resources and Sustainability to design the best mix of our social media communication strategy. Maintains and strengthens the company's social media presence through digital channels and identifies trends and insights.

Supports the Sales Director in the conceptual and physical organization of events such as trade shows and identifies and evaluates the best suppliers with the support of the Purchasing department.

 

What you will do: 

 

  • Support the manager in developing strategies, policies and guidelines for social media use.
  • ​​Develop and manage social media accounts, including blogs and social advocacy platforms.
  • Support the manager in coordinating and managing the annual social media plan.
  • Measure and report the performance of all platforms and evaluate them against objectives (ROI and KPIs).
  • Write and/or edit English content (both visual and written) for social media posts and campaigns.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspectives for adoption, where appropriate.
  • Drive internal engagement to boost usage and oversee focus groups.
  • Participate in industry trade shows/events to propose solutions and vendors, and monitor their implementation, ensuring everything is carried out according to the provided guidelines and agreed-upon timelines.
  • Act as the front-office point of contact during trade fairs, welcoming visitors/potential customers, identifying their needs, and directing them to the appropriate sales representative.

 

What you need to have: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field with a specialization in social media and/or community management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media and community management and/or event management.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools such as Hubspot, Social Studio and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Solid knowledge of B2B marketing principles and SEO copywriting to drive inbound traffic.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Italian.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Highly creative and open to new ideas.
  • Project management skills, with experience in identifying target audiences and creating social media campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Willingness to travel, particularly to attend national and international trade shows.
