Manufacturing Lead Engineer

Job Description：

Be responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures involved in manufacturing processes, researching automation techniques to maximize the efficiency of production lines and planning factory layouts that optimize how products are made across entire facilities.

Responsibilities：

• Evaluating manufacturing processes
• Developing effective automated and non-automated systems
• Make recommendations to improve working methods or operation sequences that will minimize risks, costs, and wastage; increase yields and productivity; improve quality and consistency of final products
• Facilitate the planning and implementation of workplace flow & layout, equipment installations, modifications, and moves according to Lean concepts
• Design and simulate the layout of new plant in the future
• CRITICAL SHORT-TERM OBJECTIVES or CRITICAL ASPECTS OF ROLE NEXT 2-3 YEARS
• Observe and recognize the improvement opportunities in workshop
• Optimize the layout of production lines to improve safety, quality and productivity

Requirements：

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering
• Over 5 years working experience in mechanical engineering industry
• Familiar with lean knowledge and skilled application experience
• Excellent knowledge in production flow lines design
• Abundant experience of automation projects implementation
• Project management ability, commitment to quality, and familiarity with safety and environmental standards.
• Language: Good command of English & Mandarin both in written and oral.
• Computer skills: Mastery of MS Office software; AutoCAD skill is a must.
