Corporate Marketing & Communications Sr Manager

Position Summary

The Corporate Marketing & Communications Sr Manager for OPW leads the company’s internal and external marketing communications initiatives to support the execution of OPW’s strategic plan. This role is responsible for developing and executing the global internal communications strategy, partnering closely with the executive leadership team to communicate OPW’s vision, mission, culture, and strategic priorities. In addition, the role leads corporate brand management, digital marketing, and demand generation initiatives that support pipeline growth and strengthen the OPW brand across global markets. The position will help enhance center-led marketing capabilities across OPW businesses while ensuring alignment with Dover corporate standards and best practices and may work from our Hamilton, OH; Elon NC; or Downers Grove, IL campuses.

This position reports to the VP, Commercial Excellence & Business Development, with a dotted-line relationship to the VP, Human Resources, both members of the OPW senior leadership team. The ideal candidate brings experience leading global corporate communications and marketing programs, including internal communications, brand management, digital marketing, and measurable demand generation in a fast-paced industrial environment.

 

Key Responsibilities 

Corporate Communications

  • Develop and execute the global OPW internal communications strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic priorities, culture, and business objectives.
  • Craft executive-level communications that effectively convey OPW’s vision, mission, performance priorities, and transformation initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders across OPW businesses to develop messaging that reflects operational priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Design communication approaches tailored to the style, tone, and communication preferences of OPW’s executive leadership team.
  • Partner with HR and HR Business Partners to implement coordinated communication plans supporting employee engagement, organizational initiatives, and major company projects.
  • Collaborate with Dover Corporate Communications to localize and distribute key enterprise communications across OPW.

 

Brand Management & Corporate Marketing 

  • Own the development and execution of OPW’s corporate brand strategy, value proposition, and external messaging across all corporate channels.
  • Ensure consistency of OPW brand positioning across websites, social media, corporate presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Drive adherence to OPW brand standards across global businesses, ensuring consistent application internally and externally.
  • Identify and mitigate trademark risks and inconsistencies to protect OPW brand integrity.

 

Growth Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Partner with Dover Digital and OPW business unit commercial leaders to drive measurable pipeline contribution and accelerate closed/won revenue.
  • Evaluate and enhance BU multi-channel demand generation strategies leveraging digital marketing, ABM, content marketing, and event campaigns.
  • Facilitate a commercial marketing community of practice to strengthen lead qualification processes and improve marketing-sourced pipeline performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Marketing teams to develop integrated growth marketing programs supporting both new customer acquisition and account expansion.

 

Digital Marketing & Content Strategy

  • Lead the development and governance of OPW’s digital marketing ecosystem including website, social media, and digital content platforms.
  • Oversee editorial calendars and the development of high-quality marketing content including blogs, white papers, videos, and social media campaigns.
  • Ensure content strategies effectively support OPW’s three core market segments and global growth priorities.
  • Partner with marketing agencies to manage campaign execution, marketing analytics, and budget performance.

 

Marketing Operations, Analytics & Governance

  • Measure and optimize marketing performance through data-driven experimentation, attribution modeling, and ROI analysis.
  • Monitor campaign performance and continuously improve marketing effectiveness and conversion rates across the funnel.
  • Support governance and alignment of marketing investments to ensure efficient deployment of marketing resources and budget.
  • Ensure alignment with Dover digital marketing standards and corporate marketing best practices.

 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate marketing and communications, preferably within an industrial or technology organization.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic vision into clear marketing and communications strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong experience in digital marketing, demand generation, ABM, and marketing operations supporting pipeline growth.
  • Demonstrated success executing global marketing initiatives that meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Extensive experience developing executive-level presentations, speeches, and strategic communications for senior leadership.
  • Proven success in corporate communications or public relations with measurable impact.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to engage effectively with executive leadership teams.
  • Strategic thinker capable of balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders across a global organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated expertise in executive communications.
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment with the ability to travel internationally as needed.
  • Ability to work independently while driving innovation, speed, and execution.
  • Proficiency in modern web technologies and familiarity with marketing platforms and digital tools.

Pay Range: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually

 

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
