Key member of the leadership team responsible for identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing business opportunities in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, alliances, and business deals, to help OPW execute its growth strategy, as well as drive acquisitions globally.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and prioritize attractive market segments and industries, including near and far afield adjacencies, which would be offer attractive ROIC for inorganic investment
  • Identify and build relationships with potential future companies for acquisition and nurture relationships to establish sole source acquisition opportunities
  • Develop business case for acquisition to develop of EOI (Expression of Interest), LOI (Letter of Intent) and Board closing approval documents, including working with finance team to build financial models
  • Drive weekly status meeting with functional leaders to assure all pre-close due diligence items are covered, and Dover is ready to take the next step in the acquisition process
  • Post- close, position carries the overall OPW knowledge to manage through any major integration questions that arise for clarification
  • Work in partnership with Dover M&A team for due diligence and to prepare executive level summaries
  • Collaborate and assist in driving the global 3-year strategic plan for OPW including the development of specific initiatives for growth, productivity, and M&A



  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy/business development/growth strategy/change management/global 
  • Experienced in B2B industrial space with multiple go-to-market approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across all levels of a large organization
  • Must be able to travel 20% (includes international travel)

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, influence and collaborate at the leadership level
  • Strong analytical skills
