As Senior FP&A Manager, you play a key role in driving financial transparency, performance, and decision-making for our hardware and production business (PCE & Systech). You translate data into clear insights, challenge the status quo, and support Operations, Sourcing and local management in steering profitable growth.

 

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capabilities who enjoys shaping processes, understanding the business behind the numbers, and acting as a trusted business partner in an international environment.

 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Serve as a Finance Business Partner for Production, Operations, Sourcing and local management, actively contributing your perspective to business decisions.
  • Lead and prepare management reporting, including P&L, cash flow, profitability analysis, working capital, and production-related KPIs.
  • Conduct business and performance analysis, identify trends, variances and improvement opportunities, and present clear recommendations.
  • Drive the planning cycle (Annual Operating Plan, forecasting, rolling outlooks) including scenario modelling and variance analysis.
  • Support working capital optimization, focusing on inventory levels, cost drivers, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, improve and maintain reporting structures, dashboards and KPI frameworks, ensuring transparency and standardization.
  • Collaborate with the global Systech and Dover Digital Finance teams to align reporting, financial processes and systems.
  • Support central finance initiatives (ERP enhancements, reporting tools, consolidation systems) and assist during peak periods (e.g., quarter-end, audits).
  • Present financial results and insights clearly and confidently to stakeholders at various levels—both in German and English.

 

                                                                                                    

Qualifications

 

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Controlling—or a comparable qualification; advanced certifications (CPA, ACCA, etc.) are a plus but not required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Controlling or FP&A within a manufacturing company (manufacturing experience is mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of production-related KPIs, cost structures, inventory, COGS, gross margin and operational processes.
  • Proven track record as a Business Partner for Operations/Production/Supply Chain.
  • Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis.
  • Confident working with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools; advanced Excel skills.
