Based at our Hodgkins, IL facility, the ERP System Coordinator will help drive and execute Oracle functional strategy and process improvements within the FMS business unit.  This individual will also be responsible for the entry and set-up of key elements such as items, BOM’s, configurator, and price lists to ensure a standard is followed for all data flowing into the system.  This person will also be critical in terms of analyzing existing data and proactively looking for opportunities where improvements can be made in the day to day operation of the ERP system (customer facing content and internal interactions with the system).  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy and continuous improvement discussions to develop standards for Oracle elements including:
    • Item creation (item attribute settings)
    • BOM structure (for each product family)
    • Item catalogues
    • Sales order entry process/formatting
    • Invoice content and format
    • Production routings and processing
    • Price lists
  • Serve as the primary person within business unit Oracle set-up/data entry:
    • Items
    • BOM’s
    • Routings
    • Price Lists
  • Define clear processes and create documentation for various functional departments to follow in their day to day routines/activities
  • Root cause analysis of Oracle transaction errors/mistakes

 

Candidate Experience and Qualifications

  • University Degree (4 year accredited institution)
  • 5+ years Oracle operating experience particularly in the following areas:
    • Item creation (impact of various item attribute settings)
    • BOM creation
    • Configurator
    • Routings
  • Desire to develop a deep understanding in all business functions within Oracle
  • Previous exposure to numerous Oracle functions a plus:
    • Item catalogs
    • Production Routings
    • Inventory
      • Location adjustments
      • Multiple inventory locations
      • WHIP
    • Price Lists
  • Extensive experience with Excel
    • Data mining/analysis
    • Data clean-up
